SCHUMSCHUM MATERIAL 250D in 120 medium format carries the same cinematic DNA you know from our 35mm materials, now translated into a larger format with even higher detail and smoother image rendering.
It is a daylight-balanced film based on professional motion-picture stock, developed for maximum resolving power, natural color reproduction, and wide exposure latitude.

With a native ISO 250, the film is ideal for daylight shooting, outdoor scenes, and well-lit interiors. It features fine grain, high sharpness, and a characteristic cinematic contrast, making it well suited for portrait, architectural, and documentary photography. The larger 120 negative allows more information to be captured, smoother tonal transitions, and a more pronounced cinematic character.

The film is made from 65mm motion-picture film, retains its perforation and remjet backing, and is intended for ECN-2 processing. After development, it offers a high degree of flexibility during scanning.

If your camera does not support ISO 250, we recommend rating the film at ISO 200. This provides slightly more exposure, resulting in cleaner shadows, finer grain, and more natural colors in daylight conditions. Higher ratings (e.g. ISO 400) reduce exposure and may increase contrast and grain.
